The way we breathe reflects our internal state at each moment in time. Simply paying attention to this can be a powerful form of meditation supporting self knowledge and awareness. Taking it a step further by consciously working with the breath, it is possible to influence our internal state and gain control over emotional imbalances. This workshop will explore some of the powerful techniques used within a range of breath-work traditions from varying disciplines. Learn how to use the breath as a tool to support your own health and well-being. You will also gain valuable insights into how breathing exercises work on a physiological level to regulate key systems in our body such as the cardio-vascular, endocrine and central nervous system.
